#252: Alkor / Small Suburban Heartbeats
M3U FMP3  Tracks : 6

Alkor returns with the last release before the annual Kahvi Summer Break. Slightly different in style from his previous release on Kahvi, Small Suburban Heartbeats is a multi-textured, epic, ambient trip into the unknown.

With tracks like 'Finally falling..' building up the expectations and setting the scene for the rest of the ep, and the truly epic and curiously named `20701` being the track of choice, I think this release has something for those die hard ambient fans along with the melodic idm followers.

small suburban heartbeats is the perfect compliment to those hot dry summer months spent languishing in the sun. Enjoy the summer and see you again soon!

To date, my FAVOURTIE album from this site. THIS right here is what i think music should be all about - smooth, flowing ambience with real feeling and strong beats which do not dominate but neatly complement that ambience. Some subtle diversity which keeps the overal progression of the album strong.

One of my all time favourite tracks, from here and in general - "small heartbeat." Excellent - fantastic build and sustained beats. It is easy to get lost in a dreamworld with bliss such as this.

Please alkor, bless the world with more of this perfection.

This album is freaking amazing. No, really. At least 5 stars. It's inspiring, ethereal, and picturesque. You need to listen to it!

More? More would be fantastic

After listening to Vangelis' album "The City" I like to listen to this album. This album moves us away from downtown and into the suburbs, the ever beating heart of society.

Lately I've been very busy, finally i listened carefully to Alkor ep.
I agree with Tom Bragl: this music has a rich structure...and the amazing balance of the sounds has impressed me.
My fav tracks are 'small heartbeat' and 'the heart that went to the moon'
