Aaah, how I LOVE that oldstylish pure electronic sound!! Wish we had more of that here, as kahvi gets more and more intruded into that mainstreamish "I was a good boy and mummy paid me piano lessons" direction. |

Although I haven't heard the all the selections yet from Introspective (been way too busy chilling out to Monteverdi's "Motets for Solo Voice" as well as early 20th century veg music by Faure), the Gewesen EP is at the top of my "sedative-inspired" playlists. Keep up the mellow musik!

This is a real treat. Another classic kahvi artist comes back to release an ep. ;)
Considering the artist I was a expecting a total ambient release such as "ayesteeyah". So I was pretty surprised that these tracks carried a bit more structure than some of introspectives releases (such as: kahvi 51 & 59 IMHO) anyway, I thought the ep was fairly decent. If I have a favorite track it is "the leaves in the rain". |

Anyway, so far some nice sounds on this release.
I really like some of the details put into some of these tracks, expecially "Specular Highlights". Almost done listening to the release. |
