| #193: Mataya / Black Light |
A new guest artist visits Kahvi - Mataya, who goes down in history as being the very first artist to feature on Kahvi who hails from Macedonia. Interesting influences of style and flair are apparent in this electronic masterpiece, semi-commercialisms erupt in a couple of the tracks but this crossover between west and eastern borders makes for an interesting listen. Mellow, chilled, ambient with a touch of melodic IDM. Welcome to Kahvi Mataya! |

The most accurate description of your productions would be 'architecture' for you create a beautiful, almost solid environment.
It's inspiring, I love it!
Ciao from Holland. | | Curious Inversions wrote on 01/05/08, 3:37 pm | You know, I was going to say that I loved this album, that it was one of the more fantastic Kahvi releases... but now you have to go and tell me that you're not Macedonian, but Croatian?!?
Well, now I must hate this album!
:)
Seriously, this is a very fine album. Highlights for me were Half Yellow, Orange, and Light In.
...I do hope that there will be more in this style in the near future... (?) | | Halebopp wrote on 01/05/08, 3:36 pm | Mataya is Magnificent! I've already listened to this 7 or 8 times in 2 days. Hope we hear from Mataya again soon. Fantastic! | | fl3xibl3 wrote on 01/05/08, 3:36 pm | i like it! macedonians are almost bulgarians so hello brother! | |
