#158: Alpha Conspiracy / Aura EP
M3U FMP3  Tracks : 3

The collective is honoured, once again, to welcome alpha conspiracy to its shores. three tracks from his latest cd entitled aura, this release gives you a powerful, fast welcome to the style that the electronic music scene has known over the years. the tracks were picked to give a cross section of the cd, ranging from melodical 'born slippy' vocal style of close to the more subtle off key pads in wishing never. a powerful release by far and definately one for your permanent playlist. now do yourself a favour and buy the full cd!

Love it! A nice change of pace. Almost Delerium-like. Some nicely
emotional, gripping vocals. Layers and layers of
get-out-of-your-seat-and-move-ya-body beats.

Very appropriately sci-fi-ish. This will be good music for doing
something creative, or reading some particularly epic books, as the
music easily matches it. Good music for driving, but make sure to keep
an eye on the speed limit. ;)

These tunes would be perfectly at home in a soundtrack. The album has a
nice organic crunchy electronic sound, yet enough well-plotted, melodic
beats to ensure the energy and vision gets through. Man, I want more
from Alpha Conspiracy!

ş :Quite confused in the first moment - did I switch on that pop music radio station by mistake? WTF is that Billy Idol (for the poor) singing guy doing at kahvi? Get this mess away from my ears. Š: Ah, that sounds a little more kahvish. Could be almost nice if that guy would keep his mouth shut... š: Ah, he shut up. Looks like this be the only piece to keep, but it will never be prominent on my HD. Maybe this release is impressive to you other musicians as it has been produced on a very professional level, but this can be done much easier, simply by switching on the radio. A lousy release IMHO. Insulting? Come on guys, most of you do nothing but indiscriminate praise!

Rubicante is right, this could become mainstream ;). At least, the songs are really great, almost some kind of rock, but still keeping the electro-side of Kahvi. I'll be playing this release for some while!

andrew has done great work since i first heard him. personally, i love cypher more than aura, but they both are great discs. the compelation between low technicians and the alpha conspiracy, forward rewinding, was a nice, though short disc.

i recommend this to everyone and anyone to try. then if you like, go buy it from cdbaby or any other cd store that stocks it.

i've been happy since the day i bought all the cds.

wow...

This was some good stuff. I think Alpha Conspiracy could easily become mainstream. The vocals compliments what ive come to love about AC and they really rocked on this ep.

Thanks you guys for putting this on kahvi! :D
