| #159: Aaron Jasinski / Electronic Feeling Machine |

A welcome return to mr jasinski. he's given us some superfluous releases over the past couple of years and this is no exception. twelve tracks of audio, a playing time just under fifty minutes; blissful elektro vibes, the industrial edge that jasinski's own made synths create and the slightly chilled and melodical feel that all of previous releases also convey. an enjoyable, occasionally challenging but still fantastic collage of works. |

Nickchen wrote on 01/05/08, 9:42 pm | Partly very poorly produced. With some of the pieces (especially Š, Ŧ, භ), my eardrums almost started bleeding fom these exaggerated hihat trebles >14000Hz. couldn't help deleting these. Must have been mixed by means of speakers or lo-fi headphones.
As the sounds are glaring, the music mostly isn't. Most pieces leave me undecided somewhere in the nowhere-land between GREAT and BAD. I would call it "conventional" in respect of composition. "Single Fill Lines" is quite good though, best thing Aaron has brought out so far and now part of my personal kahvi hall of fame. | | Rubicante wrote on 20/04/08, 8:24 pm | I waited for the .zip to become available forever. I eyed the site like a hawk then finally...alas it was up for download in all of its kahvi'ed splendor!
After a few painful minutes of downloading time, I finally had my prized possesion. My hand shakedly went to open winamp. Then, I carefully opend the fresh OGG that I extracted from the tenures of the .zip file.
This was it.
BLISS! I was greeted by a cacophany of sounds that iterated and danced with my ears in an ever so delicate fashion. So mellow this was, this taste of elysium. This; This music.
yup... im a weird one. Anyway, cool tracks man. | |
