Aking the collective in a different direction, kilowatts, who also appears on diffusion records (alpha conspiracy), provides some beat driven tracks for your pleasure. this release is aimed at being fun and enjoyable, hence the curiously named track names. as kilowatts says 'this release contains 4 pasta-inspired breaks tracks, drenched with marinara, and covered in mozzarella cheese.' along with the beats goes a subtle idm melodical and sentimental edge - a refreshing change from the usual. welcome kilowatts. |

I love that release, drum and percusssion are particularly interesting.
Very very nice.
Also, it is weird to associate pasta with music...but it is a great idea.

The track names let it down a bit but that's just a personal thing guess, but for my 'taste' (mmm...pasta), "Ravioli Rave" is a bit of a lame title almost to the point of putting me off listening initially. Still, I suppose having eaten all those beats perhaps Kilowatts has his tongue now firmly in his cheek. :wink:
