I`m not entirely sure what mosaik is apologising for. The ep is a work of art, in the usual (radix) mosaik style. following on from his first ep release on kahvi, apologies features those good, solid beats, subtle nuances and influences and just plain great listening like we're used to. anybody who is familiar with mosaik and his previous lives will see this ep as a continuation of his style evolving. a strong ep, some excellent works and one that I`ll be putting on my permanent playlist for sure. |

Perhaps you should experiment with a bit more rough sounds. I would love to see where that would lead to.

I have to admit, I was disappointed by this one.
I liked "pillow dance", "clover", and "locus fruit" as kind of quirky rhythmic things... all were quite similar. But truth be told, they don't particularly stand out in a collection of music where esem reigns supreme. :)
The others were too perky for my (dark) tastes... and winternumb was one of those tracks that seemed like it could have been quite cool, but couldn't quite make up its mind about where to go, and so failed.
I wanted to be thrilled by this release, so perhaps my expectations were too high.

The sound is good and ethereal.
Every track don't disappoint, but I like "cumulus" particularly.
