#270: Kilowatts / Six Silicates
M3U FMP3  Tracks : 6

Kilowatts is back - after his highly successfull track featured on Robot Dreams, Kilowatts returns to Kahvi with a six track ep entitled 'six silicates'.

After the pure ambiance of casimirs blake, Six Silicates turns the mood with beat driven electronica/techno, fast paced and dynamic vibes and a definite 'euphoric' theme throughout. A warm and friendly ep to welcome the summer months, listen and enjoy the sun!

Track of choice: Amethyst.

This release sees the new podcast format being used for the first time. Instead of seperate tracks, a single crossfading mix will be put out on the podcast for each release.

If you like this ep, don't forget that you can donate (any amount!) to the artist by clicking 'donate'. Its a small gesture to give something back to the artist for all his hard work in the preparation of this release. (Those who donate will get a link to the FLAC versions of the tracks).

Just wanted to write and say that years later, this techno-ish EP with brilliant sound design is still a staple in my playlists. Also this release led me to explore more of Kilowatts' work. Thanks Kilowatts for always making great music, and 4T for introducing me to it!

Yeah! I can't believe you took my input. Kahvi will likely be my main electronic source now. I couldn't stand broken up tracks as I couldn't listen without manually choosing each one (maybe the new iphones ipod touches don't do this, but the video ipod I have doesn't automatically move to another podcast)....

THANK you sincerely for listening to me...
i'm a new greatest fan! :-)

High praise indeed from these incredibly talented artists. If that's not a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is.

After listening to it myself, I agree with the general sentiments: wow! Freakin' fantastic! There's a story here, and it grabs your attention and pulls you into its whirling, tumbling kaleidoscope gears. Really, really good stuff, a standout of the year.

This release is phenomenal! Especially emerald kicks ass. Where were your ideas comming from?

Exactly! Perfect stuff for having a nap outside (with possibly a drink in hand) and listening to premium Kahvi-style electronica.

Yeah!!! This is steampunk! This album is from some parallel universe where steam has won and it's a story of man-machines driven by steam engine :) It's fine sounding smart groovy downtempo with electro flavor. Loving this release!
